crop top wish list

this year crop tops are in and hear are four tops that i just love.

polka dot's complete any plain outfit and make it look just that bit more cheeky ;) 

a simple denim look top is great as long as you don't over do it with matching bottom wear. 

a white lace top is just divine on those special day's in the sun.

but if you want to show a bit more skin a black top with a pattern like this is perfect

but just remember, if your slightly more voluptuous like me it doesn't mean you cant wear these sorts of top's you just have to pick the right one for you. amy x

Cheap to Chic

Want to know how a cheap outfit can be pulled off? then keep reading:)

So, got a plain basic top? dazzle it up by wearing a big bold necklace! Make sure the necklace is quite big and attracts attention! This way it will cover your top and look stunning!

Boring jeans? Not a problem! Simple, just make them look ripped! This is really easy to do and looks really nice with a white shirt or jumper. Either ware them out using sand paper to get the rough effect and then get scissors and carefully cut them or ware them out by wearing them somewhere your probably going to slide on your knees or even fall over! this way the cuts will be natural!

Plain shoes? Do what Hannah Montana does! Graffiti them up! Get a pencil and draw the graffiti you want on the shoe, then, get a fine liner in black or whatever colour you want and go over the pencil! this looks really cool because its unique and no one will have the same.

Drab bag? Don't worry! studs are the way to go. Go to the nearest store and look for some silver or gold studs. Then either make a pattern on your bag with them or put them on randomly. Or stud up the handle. It goes from drab...to fab!

Plain white dress? spray paint time! Make a stencil of some thick lines that wont be spray painted, then line them up where you want them and spray the gaps! We think this looks ace if its in grey because it looks more shabby chic! And to finish off, sew some sequins onto the hem line to add a bit of sparkle.


Plain Alice band? add some ribbon! Get some nice pretty ribbon in any colour and tie a bow onto the side of the Alice band. This seems really simple but its so effective!

so i just thought i would give you a few more tips and say a big thank you we are now at 153 views i know it's not allot but its still more than what we thought.

so in the summer i think about peaches and pinks but really anything goes in the summer. if you have any fun eye shadow colors this is the time to use them. Use your bronze even though its sunny you can still fake that radiant glow with an illuminating bronze cream or powder. put it along your nose, cheek's and chin for a thin face and a summer glow. use your blusher, a pretty pink makes your face radiant and bright and lastly use your lip gloss, smother on some pink gloss, nothing say's summer better than that.

hair and make up for school

im an average 13 year old girl and love to look nice for school se hear's how  do it Xx
. i start with cleansing my face with a soft skin cleaner it's really good for spots.
.then i apply my concealer and finish with a compact powder.
.then i apply eyeliner pencil and pen. a bit of eye shadow and lots of mascara
.then i do my hair, i dry condition it everyday and straighten it.
.i either leave it done or tie the back up with some pin's.
.then i use gel, mouse and spray to give it volume on top of back combing it.

if your like me and your birthday is in the summer you'll want more than just a sleep over so why not make it interesting.hear's an 8 step list to help to make it memorable.

Create your guest list!
this depend's on you'r budget and your venue. but i always say the bigger the better. why not ask for a party as your present. Make sure you don't invite anyone who will ruin your night.  

Decide on the details!
where are you going to hold your party and most importantly when and what sort of party. try and go a bit more adventurous than a village hall.

Buy or make your invitations!
buying your invitation's is much more easier than making them and the more interesting the invitation the more intriguing the party will be.

Think about your decorations, just be creative!
decoration's are key. make them bright and relevant to your theme. come up with something unique and fun. bunting and light's are cute but don't over use them. 

Make a list of food and drink supplies you want!
remember if your having a summer themed party make it exotic and full of flavor don't go for the typical cocktail sausage. maybe get some fruits or even do some research.

Decide on the attire!
is it going to be fancy dress? everyone loves to dress up but do you want to wear a classy dress then have slick chic. we will be doing a post later on what to wear for a party.

 Make it unique!
don't copy anyone's party make it different and memorable.

hear are some handy tip's to help you get through summer this year.

SEASIDE!!!!

If your off to the beach in all this 'beautiful' weather, then here's some tips!

DUNGAREES-

Dungarees is what it's about this summer! however, sometimes, the denim can get a bit hot and can be awkward. So, how about a cotton one? they're just as good or if not better! Dungarees come in two styles; dress and shorts. Our personal favourite are the dress kind. But, obviously you need a top to go with it, so, get a simple white crop top like the soft cropped cami as mentioned in the previous post ' Casual look' .

SHOES

some cute little sandals or flip flops are really cute with dungarees and perfect for the beach because its not a pain to get sand out! Don't get sandals if they're uncomfortable otherwise you wont enjoy your day as much! jelly shoes are also in this year! just be sure to make sure they ,match the dungarees in colour and don't clash to much!

NAIL PAINT-

No-one wants boring nails! So why not go for a basic pastel colour from models own. these are really cute because pastel is so in this year! It just adds some extra cuteness to your outfit! Purple looks really cute!

CASUAL LOOK

TOP

For the casual look, wear a basic tee, in white or black. Topshop do a good range of tops that suite the casual look, such as the 'cropped soft cami'  This is really cute because its basic and is good quality!

SHORTS

If the weather is nice and warm, shorts are perfect. If you have any vintage denim shorts, they're perfect, such as Levi's , 'high rise shorts'
These are good because they are basic but look really nice! If there is too much detail it can look a little tacky!

SOCKS

If its too warm for tights, wear some cute socks. Wear either high knee or ankle high socks, my personal favourite our the knee highs because they're so adorable! Urban outfitters do a nice range of socks!

JACKET

The jacket is what pulls an outfit together! Go for either a lumberjack cardigan or a denim or leather jacket.
If you choose a denim jacket, go for a cropped one because they make it so much cuter. If you choose a lumberjack cardigan, go a few sizes bigger so it looks slightly bigger and roll the sleeves up to create a cool effect. And if you choose a leather jacket, get one that's comfortable because there's nothing worse than having a really tight jacket!

SHOES

Boots or heels? Well, theyre both really cute and pull off an outfit, but go for which ever you find more comfortable. We recommend wearing boots if your doing a lot of walking! but heels for a day out in town! If you go for boots, go for a light grey/black colour and heels a swade or black.

Summer makeup

 

FOUNDATION;

 

For foundation, go etiher one or two shades darker than your natural skin tone. this way it'll look like you have a nice tan, but wont look to fake. it'll also bring out the shape of your face.

 

EYE SHADOWS;

 

For eye shadow, you don't want anything to major as summer is about natural beauty this year, so, go for light soft colours. this could include baby pinks and blues, or browns and natural colours. This way you wont look like your trying to hard.

 

LIP GLOSS;

 

obviously in summer you don't want to stick out like a saw thumb just because of your lip colour. this summer is all about cute, soft lipglosses. A light pink really makes an impact if you have delicate, pale skin. if your skin is quite dark, go for a slightly darker pink to blend in nicely. SUMMER AT LAST!

Okay guys,so, summers coming up/here and the weathers going to be getting hotter.

Shorts

 So, obviously, as girls, we don't want to be stuck wearing jeans all the time! How about turning old jeans into shorts? simply get your jeans and cut them into shorts! its cheaper and easier to do rather than going shopping, being on a budget and having to find the perfect fit and look. Before cutting up your jeans  make sure its alright with your parents!

Crop tops

Got an old nice top? Too hot for summer? Simple! turn it into a crop top! make sure you don't cut it too short as you don't want to seem a bit...well, tarty! make sure its just above your belly button or if you have a belly bar, just above the top ring. this will make the perfect top for summer, it wont be too clingy so you wont sweat as much!

Hair

So, in summer, we sweat. no doubt about it! And the worst thing about the heat, is having all your hair stick to your face! so why don't you tie your hair to the side and loosely plait it, this will give you a really girly look and really brings out your face shape and cheekbones!  it looks cute and stops yougetting sticky sweaty hair. if your hair isn't long enough, try either having half up half down as that's super cute, or even just clipping it back or to the side.
