Cheap to Chic

So, got a plain basic top? dazzle it up by wearing a big bold necklace! Make sure the necklace is quite big and attracts attention! This way it will cover your top and look stunning!

Boring jeans? Not a problem! Simple, just make them look ripped! This is really easy to do and looks really nice with a white shirt or jumper. Either ware them out using sand paper to get the rough effect and then get scissors and carefully cut them or ware them out by wearing them somewhere your probably going to slide on your knees or even fall over! this way the cuts will be natural!

Plain shoes? Do what Hannah Montana does! Graffiti them up! Get a pencil and draw the graffiti you want on the shoe, then, get a fine liner in black or whatever colour you want and go over the pencil! this looks really cool because its unique and no one will have the same.

Drab bag? Don't worry! studs are the way to go. Go to the nearest store and look for some silver or gold studs. Then either make a pattern on your bag with them or put them on randomly. Or stud up the handle. It goes from drab...to fab!

Plain white dress? spray paint time! Make a stencil of some thick lines that wont be spray painted, then line them up where you want them and spray the gaps! We think this looks ace if its in grey because it looks more shabby chic! And to finish off, sew some sequins onto the hem line to add a bit of sparkle.


Plain Alice band? add some ribbon! Get some nice pretty ribbon in any colour and tie a bow onto the side of the Alice band. This seems really simple but its so effective!
